On Thursdays during the fall, winter, and spring, we invite caregivers and little ones to come to the church for Little People's Playtime. For those two hours, children play in the gym or outside on the playground while moms, dads, and grandparents have coffee and snacks and a little grown-up fellowship. At certain times during the year, we host special craft days or field trips. You are welcome to call the church at 262-728-2522 to find out the plans for the day. During the summer, families meet at one of the local parks once a month on Thursdays for fellowship and a picnic.
On Monday evenings during the fall and winter, our men and teen boys play basketball. Then on many Saturdays during basketball season, they play teams from other local churches. This is a great opportunity for fellowship, exercise, ministry. Whether or not you have played basketball in the past, you are welcome to come join this activity.
About once a month our 7th - 12th graders get together for fun activities and a challenge from God's Word. They play games, go camping and hiking, have cookouts, and enjoy other great activities.
One Sunday each summer, the church family leaves the Sunday morning service and brings grills, food, games, and lawn chairs to one of the local parks in Delavan. There we have a cookout, sing, have our Sunday evening service, and play games.
When the city of Delavan holds its annual Cinco de Mayo Festival, we go to the celebration with free water, snacks, and bilingual literature to give to the people who gather for the day. Throughout the day the English, Spanish, and Deaf church family get to know the people of the community and try to introduce them to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
